ELMORE Glycerine Cream and Lotion - Dry Skin No More

Happy New Year my lovely readers! It's been a miserable week or so due to Malaria but I am getting back on track. Being ill can serious drain your body, mind and soul! The weather made it slightly bearable as I am quite fond of winters which are almost non-existent in my city but not all over Pakistan. Karachi only experiences a few days of chill though the dryness prevails.

Even with combination to oily skin like mine, the dry weather takes a toll and I am left with parched skin throughout the season. Some damage control is always necessary to make sure your skin stays soft and supple as well as static free (those unexpected shocks are unpleasant and so not welcome, can't even pet my cat sometime before I get a bzing!). That is where my newly found love, ELMORE Glycerine Cream and Lotion comes to the rescue.

I have already written a FIRST IMPRESSION Post on ELMORE Beauty which you can read HERE. I will still do a little recapping of the intro of the brand: "ELMORE is not a local brand. It is actually an international skincare brand which has been there since 1988 under the trademark of “ELMORE”, Evan & Mayer Inc. USA. The brand has been developing and marketing a growing range of quality skincare products ever since. The skincare brand is quite active in the Middle East & North Africa, with presence in multiple other countries of the world.

Do note that even though these are made in USA they undergo a lot of research and development without animal testing and is also certified as Halal Product. Other than eco-friendly practices, they also strive to employ bio-friendly and eco-friendly ingredients, focusing on the benefits and goodness that natural ingredients offer.

These days I am literally hooked to their Glycerine range. They have a cream and a lotion. I use both as per requirement. These two are my bedside buddies these days!

- The products contain higher level of Glycerine compared to other creams, which ensures skin repair and care in dry weather
- The packaging is very simple and basic. Nothing fancy (consider the price)
- Certified Halal (or All Organic) which means no animal ingredient is used in the products
- The skin stays hydrated for a longer period of time due to the added Silicone barrier protection
- Light, non-greasy formula which absorbs well into your skin
- Strong, sweet smell that kind of reminds me of baby powder
- Contains Chamomile extract which is known to be beneficial for skin and aids in healing rashes, acne, eczema, and even sunburns while preventing bacterial infection
- I also applied the cream on my feet and it healed my cracked heels
- The cream is also great for manicure as it softens cuticles, tried and tested
- Super affordable while being great in quality and quantity. The 150ml lotion is just PKR.150/- and 100ml cream is just PKR.180/- which is seriously pocket-friendly

This product was a pleasant surprise for me. Not just me but my parents have started using it and love. So the next time you heading out to get some skincare product you should keep ELMORE in and give it a go!

Easily available in all major Superstores (as well as many smaller stores) all across Pakistan.

DISCLOSURE: This is a Sponsored Post. However, all my reviews are honest and I only write about products / brands that I personally believe are good because I am true to my readers

  1. The texture of this cream looks unique. Is it okay to wear silicone based product on your skin daily?
And thanks for the honest review :)

    1. if your skin is not allergic to it then yes as long as you remove it later. It has higher content of Glycerine so looks like a whitish vaseline :)

    2. Okay thanks :)

  2. I usually have combination skin, not dry. But winters in Karachi are always unpleasant for my skin. Making it super dry. I usually use Nivea to deal with dryness, but I am not much satisfied with it. Look like this product would be a great one to deal with dryness.

  3. I enjoyed reading about this cream which is new to me but can't wait to try it out!! Happy New Year to you!
